Wellness Exams:
The
most important aspect of your pet's visit will be an initial
physical exam. Our office is equipped with special
instruments to examine your pets eyes, ears, heart and other
vital organs. Vaccinations and other preventative care
such as heartworm testing and flea and tick medication will
be discussed by our caring doctors and staff. Simple
and inexpensive preventative care will keep your pet
healthy, happy and avoid costly medical expenses later.
Dental:
Our
facility is equipped with a dental cleaning and polishing
unit similar to your dentists office. We can make a
significant difference in your pets oral health and help to
reduce offensive oral odor.
Surgery:
Our
facility's surgical suite is outfitted with some of the best
available equipment. All instruments are sterilized
prior to each use. We have anesthesia machines with
respirators, pulse oximeter and ECG to monitor pulse, oxygen
status as well as heart function during surgical procedures.
All of this is in place to provide the highest level of
safety and care during your pet's surgery.
Blood
Testing:
A blood test
is one of the most important methods of assessing your pet's
health. A simple blood test can uncover potential
medical problems such as diabetes, liver, kidney and other
disease processes early on. All of our bloodwork is
done by a licensed veterinary laboratory.
X-Rays:
Advanced radiography is available should it be deemed
necessary for your pet. Our office is equipped with a
highly sensitive machine which allows our doctors to detect
subtle changes.
Ultrasound:
Ultrasound provides high quality,
non- invasive imaging of
the abdomen and chest. Our ultrasounds are evaluated
by board certified specialists.
Blood Pressure:
Our
DOPPLER blood pressure monitor provides the most accurate
measurements available today. Early detection allows
us to prevent disease before it causes damage to the heart,
kidneys and other vital organs.
Tonometry:
Allows
for early detection and treatment of Glaucoma.
ECG:
All
ECG's are performed from the comfort of our facility and are
analyzed by board certified specialists.
Pharmacy:
Middletown Animal Clinic has an extensive In-House pharmacy
of medications your pet needs to stay healthy and treat the
various medical problems that occur in our four-legged
friends.
